A GUN-WIELDING fake CIO allegedly breached Mnangagwa’s close security twice last week in the company of two unidentified accomplices driving a BMW X5.
The accused fake CIO Guthrie Chiredzero (40), tried to direct the movement of people at the renaming occassion of King George (KGVI) Barracks to Josiah Magama Tongogara Barracks in Harare last week in the company of two unidentified accomplices driving a BMW X5.
Guthrie had two days earlier, gained entry into State House, in the same manner where the new Zimbabwe Cabinet ministers were being sworn into office in the presence of Mnangagwa.
He is charged with the possession of an offensive weapon at a public gathering, impersonation and forgery.
Chiredzero is accused of producing a forged Central Intelligence Organisation (CIO) ID at the security checkpoint to enter the State House.
Chiredzero was found in possession of a 38mm special Amando Rossi South African revolver with three live rounds of ammunition and two spent cartridges, a forged Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission identity card markede, “Government of Zimbabwe executive director anti-corruption” and a fake metal driver’s licence issued all in his name.
In my view, this guy was seeking to gain the same advantages that fake war veterans gained by just joining the crowd in the eighties.
He evidently did not want to harm Mnangagwa. Why would anyone twice over the same week come so close to someone he intends to harm and do nothing. If he wanted to harm Mnangagwa he would have done it before anyone reacted , so Zanu pf must not feed the public with this hogwash designed to justify a heavier security budget and entourage and motorcade vehicles and a President’s office budget.
This is what you get when you remove the police from their duties and you use soldiers in an unconstitutional manner to carry out police duties. This saga is as ridiculous as the claims by Prof Jonathan Moyo that trained snipers were shooting at him in his house before he fled. Lets be serious people, these were just fake explosives designed to instill fear in him with shocks and flashes because any sniper would not have missed the target, eyes closed,..i mean with that kind of head even a 110 year old, visually challenged elderly would have have taken him out two miles away while in a car travelling at 110miles an hour.
All im saying these stories are all as ridiculous as the number of break ins at Mnangagwa’s office over the last few years, the poison left in his office and Im sorry to say, the ice cream saga could have all been a con by Mnangagwa and the military because the military are the ones who flew him from Gwanda to Harare and then to South Africa,..wake up Zimbabwe! These people are brainwashing Zimbabweans and justifying all their actions claiming security threats. Tell us where Itai Dzamara is! Mnangagwa, Zanu pf stalwarts and securocrats must all go! Discuss!
